Bees are threatened
However, bees are currently facing enormous threats. This happens for several reasons:

Bees need a habitat to live and find food. However, these places often disappear to make way for houses, roads, or agriculture.

To ensure optimal crop yields, pesticides are used to kill weeds and insects. Too often, bees come into contact with pesticides and they can become sick or even die.

Weather changes resulting from climate change affect the flowers bees need for food, making it harder for them to survive.

Therefore, on Bee Day, we ask everyone to act! You can plant bee-friendly flowers and shrubs, create bee hotels, place dishes with water and rocks in your garden (so that the bee can drink but not drown by landing on and taking off from the rocks)...
